REQUEST: The applicant has previously been approved for a modification to his original variance request allowing a 1440 sq. ft. accessory structure to be built on his property.  He now wishes to add a guest house/accessory dwelling to the structure.  Rather than being a unit by itself, the accessory dwelling will be inside the planned accessory dwelling and still leaves the owner with adequate room for his original intentions.  An accessory dwelling unit requires a special use permit, as per HMC 18.50.160.
