PUBLIC EVENT PERMIT APPLICATION - Event Approved 

450 runners and their families will descend on Harrisburg at the middle/grade school bus driveway on Friday, Sept 16th, and Saturday, Sept 17th.  The coordinators need 10 more adult volunteers, and 10 youth volunteers.  Please call 541-653-9704 if you can help! More information is below.

SITE LOCATION

Republic Services will be collecting trash and recycling on Wednesday, July 4, 2018. Due to the holiday, they will be picking up trash early in the morning. Please have your carts out early or the night before.

The City of Harrisburg will be auctioning several items which have fulfilled their purpose with the City and have been designated as surplus. Items include a vehicle, automotive accessories, tools, and chairs. A public viewing of all items will be held on Friday, June 15th at the City's Wastewater Facility  at 23914 Peoria Road, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

The Harrisburg Fire Cracker 5K Event is being held on Saturday, June 30th, 2018 this year. Please see the 4th of July Facebook page, or the 4th of July information on this website for a copy of the application, and event information. 

The event will be held from 9:00a.m. to 2:00p.m. at Harrisburg High School, located at 400 S. 9th St.  Entry is from the south driveway in front of the high school.  Accepted Items are as follows:

• Appliances
• Yard Debris
• Electronics
