The City of Harrisburg Master Parks Plan was completed in 2004.  During the last 17 years, we have added 3 more parks to the City, and recently completed the purchase of 132-acres of parkland directly outside of town. 

It is now time to update the original plan, and to start determining the recreational needs of Harrisburg citizens, as well as incorporating modern recreational trends.  Equal Park Access and Sustainability are all goals of the City of Harrisburg.
