Harrisburg City Hall will be closed on Wednesday December 28th from 11:00am to 2:00pm for a city-wide staff meeting.  We apologize for any inconvenience.

Reminder about leaves in the streets

The City of Harrisburg would like to remind our citizens that the City does not offer a leaf pickup service, nor does Public Works have the equipment to remove large accumulations of leaves in the street.  These accumulated leaves can clog storm drains, causing standing water or even flooding, resulting in potentially significant damage.  Please utilize your yard recycling bin provided by Republic Services.  Your help in this matter is greatly appreciated!

Gods Storehouse Food Pantry & Thrift Store

Gods Storehouse is located right in the middle of the first block on Smith St., just 4 buildings away from City Hall @ 180 Smith St., Phone Number: 541-995-8403.  Open on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 9:00am to 4:30pm both days (Closed for lunch from Noon to 1pm both days).

Bulk Mail Postcard on Harrisburg Candidates and 2024 Election

The City of Harrisburg has become aware of a bulk mailing/large postcard (red, white & blue) that was sent to citizens in Harrisburg.  The City of Harrisburg didn't provide information to this organization, but the information in relation to candidates Bobby Duncan and Randy Klemm was gathered from their biographies on the City's public website.  The mailer information was posted without their permission.  Unfortunately, it didn't include information on one of our incumbents, Mike Caughey, who has been a City Council Member (and City Council President) since 2012.
