Drug Take Back Event - Saturday, October 26th, 2024

Harrisburg Spring Drug Take Back Event - Saturday,October 26th, 2024 from 2:30pm to 3:30pm

The Linn County Sheriff's Office periodically participates in the Drug Enforcement Administrations National Drug Take Back event in the Harrisburg Community.  During these events, citizens are able to dispose of their unused/unwanted medications, including pet medications.

This year's Fall Drug Take Back Event is Saturday,October 26th , 2024.   The Linn County Sheriff's Office personnel will be at City Hall, located at 120 Smith St., between the hours of 2:30pm to 3:30.

1st Annual City of Harrisburg Scarecrow Contest! 

We are excited to be holding our 1st Annual Harrisburg Community Scarecrow Contest! All entries must be received by the extended date of October 28, and winners will be announced October 31st! Please see the entry form below for complete rules.  Voting will take place on Facebook!  Watch for the announcement.
