4th of July Volunteers Needed!
The Harrisburg Festival and Events Association has been running the 4th of July events in Harrisburg for over 68 years! (Sometimes under a different name.) Everybody loves our family oriented events; but we need enough people to help us out, and to make the event special for everyone! Please consider volunteering, even if it's only for a few hours. In 2023, we will not be able to hold the parade unless we have enough volunteers! Please contact us....just a few hours on this day will help all of our community have a great 4th of July. We also need volunteers to help judge, work on the parade route, work during the 5K on Saturday morning, or a huge number of all the things we do during the 4th of July!

In a regular year, these are the types of volunteers we need:

¨ 5K Course Marshal
¨ Hanging/Removing Shields
¨ Directing Traffic/detours
¨ Car Hop/Cruise
¨ Parade Safety Monitor
¨ Parade Staging
¨ Parade Form Distribution
¨ Donation collections
¨ Other Stuff!
