4th of July Shields
New Shields for 2023 are SOLD OUT
Have you seen the great 4th of July Shields that are put up every year on the City streets? To get a shield with your business name, or family name on it, please register and pay online at 4th of July Shields and Donations. You can email HarrisburgJuly4thCelebration@comcast.net with any questions.
Shields are only $35, and the money raised goes to pay for the fireworks and 4th of July events. (If you have never gotten a shield in the past, there will be an additional $5 set up fee, only in the first year.) We are trying to replace some of the old shields, so we might have some names doubling up on existing shields.
Businesses, be sure to take advantage of being a Sponsor; those of you sponsoring the HFEA for $250 or more will receive a shield automatically in honor of your sponsorship.
Business shields are typically put on the highway, or near the business, while family shields are up and down Smith St.
If your shield application is received by May 15, your shield will be put up between May 23rd and 30th.
If your shield application is received May 16 to June 14, signs will be put up by June 20th. Payments must be received by June 14th.
We are unable to accept forms after June 14th
