Harrisburg Municipal Center

The Harrisburg Municipal Center is centrally located in the community and houses a medium sized meeting room, with attached kitchen, that is available for rental.  This room will hold up to 182 standing room only people; only 75 chairs are available.

Parks Master Plan Project

What kind of Park do YOU want in your neighborhood?

Made possible through a grant from the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department, the City of Harrisburg will be creating a new Parks Master Plan to replace the extremely outdated 2004 Master Plan.  Working with the City again in 2021 and 2022 will be Parks Consultants Cameron McCarthy Landscape Architecture and Planning.

"If I Were Mayor, I Would..." Statewide Student Contest Winner

Congratulations Mia Portillo!

Mia was the high school winner of the "If I were Mayor, I would" student contest for the City of Harrisburg. Her prize winning powerpoint presentation is available by clicking on the link at the bottom of the webpage. As the local winner, Mia won $75 in cash and her presentation was entered into the statewide competition. Mia's presentation also won first prize at the statewide competition, where she was awarded with an I-pad Air 2.

Harrisburg Light Parade

Harrisburg Light Parade - 2025 Theme is 'A Charlie Brown Christmas!'

The 2025 Tri-County Chamber of Commerce Harrisburg light parade will be on Saturday December 6 at 7pm.

The Parade Route begins at the elementary school on Smith St., turns north on 9th St., turns left onto Territorial, then south onto N. 3rd St. (Hwy 99), and then east on Smith St. to return to the school.

Harvest Festival

Come, stay, play! Two day tractor and truck pull with live music during and after the pulling. Don't miss the family fun zone and vendor booths. Try your hand in the horseshoe tournaments while enjoying a drink from the beergarden. Then to wrap up the day stick around and camp with your friends. Wake up the next day and do it all over again!
