Distinguished Service Awards - 2025
Nominate a Deserving Volunteer or Business!
The Tri-County Chamber of Commerce Distinguished Service Awards Ceremony will be held on November 20th at 6:00pm. (More details coming soon!) Anyone can nominate a deserving volunteer, business, or organization, depending upon which category they belong! The nomination forms, eligibility requirements, and past winners, are included at the bottom of this webpage. Each School District nominates the Youth Service Awards, and for Educator of the Year. If you have someone that you feel is deserving a nomination, please contact the administrator for your school district.
We are seeking nominations for the following awards:
- LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT: A community volunteer in Monroe, Harrisburg, or Junction City who has shown outstanding volunteer service in one or more areas for the last 30 years. Such service may be in a service organization, charity, school, church, or any other combination of volunteer service. One award winner per city.
- OUTSTANDING SERVICE: A community volunteer in the Monroe, Harrisburg, or Junction City area who has shown outstanding volunteer service during the past few years. This person may have created or introduced or worked in a program(s) that benefits the community as a volunteer over a period of time of at least one year. The nominee may be participating in a service organization, charity, school, church, or any combination of these types of organizations as a volunteer. One award winner per city.
- SMALL BUSINESS OF THE YEAR: Chamber member in good standing. Ten or fewer employees. Has demonstrated an elevated level of customer satisfaction, confidence, and service. Promotes economic growth. Based in the community. Established at least two years. Has proven interest in the welfare of the community through financial contributions, personal service, or civic leadership. One total award winner (all cities combined).
- LARGE BUSINESS OF THE YEAR: Chamber member in good standing. More than ten employees. Has demonstrated an elevated level of customer satisfaction, confidence, and service. Promotes economic growth. Based in the community. Established at least two years. Has proven interest in the welfare of the community through financial contributions, personal service, or civic leadership. One total award winner (all cities combined).
- NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION: Chamber member in good standing. A social service organization, youth group, service club, arts organization, religious group, etc. Established at least two years. The organization has made a significant contribution of time, skills, and resources toward the improvement of the Junction City, Harrisburg, and Monroe communities. One total award winner (all cities combined).

Our businesses and organizations are an integral part to who we are. They give to all of our communities all the time; let's recognize them for what they do!
