Harrisburg Light Parade - December 3, 2022
The Harrisburg Light Parade, Saturday, December 3, 2022!
This years theme is 'The Polar Express'! The Tri-County Chamber of Commerce holds the light parade on Friday night, December 2nd, in Junction City, and on Saturday night, December 3rd, in Harrisburg. Monroe's parade will be held on Saturday, December 10th. All parades begin at 7pm.
The Parade Route starts at the high school, continues north on 9th St., turns left onto Territorial, then south onto N. 3rd St. (Hwy 99) and then east on Smith St. to return to the high school.
Before the parade: The Senior Center, located at 354 Smith St, will be holding a Holiday Bazaar from 10am to 4pm. Crafts-Baked Goods-Coffee-Hot Cider-Donuts-Water-Books and Gently Used Decor for sale! All proceeds benefit the Senior Center!
Following the parade: Please join us for a Holiday Gathering held at Heritage Park located at 490 Smith Street (Museum). Join Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus for some free cookies and hot apple cider from Detering Orchards. Santa's helpers will also hand out candy bags and apples to children visiting!
