Current Term:  Jan 1, 2019 to Dec 31, 2022

Council/Government Experience:  Charlotte first served on the Planning Commission, from Jan 9, 2013 to August 14, 2018, when she was appointed to the City Council to a term formally served by John Loshbaugh, ending Dec 31, 2018.  She ran for her first elected office in the 2018 General Election, and was elected to the current term of office.

Current Committee Assignments:  Harrisburg Budget Committee

Charlotte Thomas grew up on her family's farm on the Idaho/Oregon border.  In 2002 she obtained her Bachelor's of Science in Education at the Idaho State University and in 2004 moved to Harrisburg with her family. 

Since she arrived, she has been involved with the community in many ways.  the Elementary Parent Club, Middle School PTO, High School Booster Club, Cub Scouts, Church Youth Group, City Planning Commission, Harrisburg FFA Alumni Association and the Harrisburg Harvest Festival Association.  Always having a desire to serve in the community, she is now happy to serve on the City Council.

She is a mother of four and feels that it is important to teach our children the importance of being involved in our community.
