Application for Utility Service

Are you moving to Harrisburg?  Welcome!  The City of Harrisburg is responsible for providing water, sewer and storm drain services to citizens.  All new accounts are required to fill out and return a completed application for service prior to starting an account.

Along with the completed application for service the City does require a $100.00 deposit at the time service is to begin.  If you are purchasing your home, the deposit will be applied to your account after a 2 year period provided the account has not been delinquent. If you are renting your home, the deposit will be applied to your final bill and then refunded accordingly. Deposit can be in the form of cash, check,  money order, e-check, Visa, MasterCard or Discover.    

Applications may be submitted to City Hall at 120 Smith St between the hours of 8:30 to noon and 1:00 to 5:00 weekdays. You may also fax your application to 541-995-9244, email to the address on bottom of application or mail to PO Box 378, Harrisburg OR  97446.  Please include a copy of the responsible persons photo ID.  We will not be able to process your application until all necessary items are received. 

If you would like to have your utility service turned on, you must submit your completed application by 2:30 p.m. in order to obtain same day service.  Any request after that time will take place the next business day.
