Notice of Adoption of the Harrisburg Urban Renewal Plan Substantial Amendment
NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF THE HARRISBURG URBAN RENEWAL PLAN SUBSTANTIAL AMENDMENT
The City Council of the City of Harrisburg has adopted Ordinance No.993 on March 14, 2023 approving the Harrisburg Urban Renewal Plan Amendment. The Amendment has been adopted in conformance with the applicable legal requirements and shall be conclusively presumed valid for all purposes 90 days after the adoption of the ordinance. No direct or collateral attack on the action may thereafter be commenced.

City Council Public Hearing Notice:
The Harrisburg City Council will hold a public hearing and consider an ordinance for the adoption of the proposed Harrisburg Urban Renewal Plan Substantial Amendment.
WHERE: Harrisburg Municipal Center
354 Smith Street
Harrisburg, OR
WHEN: Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at 6:30 PM.
A copy of the ordinance, the proposed Harrisburg Urban Renewal Plan Amendment and accompanying report may be obtained by contacting:

The amendment will allow for the use of funds to help pay for the completion of the water bond/quality project that was approved by voters in 2017. The maximum indebtedness of the urban renewal plan is NOT being increased. There is no increase in property taxes as a result of this amendment.
The ordinance, if approved, is subject to referendum.
